Directions to Community Church
From Upstate New York
Take 17 and 87 to the Tappan Zee Bridge (toll)
After the Bridge, take the Westchester County Expressway (287) in 2 miles.
Don’t get confused by the sign for New York City. You really want the 287
After three miles, take the Sprain Brook Expressway South (Exit 2)
After 30 minutes, take the exit for Sheridan Expressway - Triboro Bridge.
The toll is $4.00 and exact change is best.
Stay in the center lane after the exit, pass the light, and enter the Sheridan (left side entrance)
Stay in the center lane, follow the signs for Queens-Manhattan, and enter the Triboro Bridge
After the bridge, take the 2nd exit for the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (2 miles)
Take the Northern Blvd exit (1/2 mile). Turn left at light onto Northern Blvd.
At 82nd Street, turn right and go two blocks. Church is on the right.
Parking garage is ½ block past the church on the left on 82nd Street.
From Long Island
Use the Long Island Expressway to Grand Central Parkway.
Stay in the left lanes and exit Northern Blvd West.
Travel on Northern Blvd to 82nd Street and turn left. See above.
From Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey
Take 278 – Brooklyn Queens Expressway into Queens.
(Stay in middle lanes to avoid unwanted exit lanes)
Northern Blvd exit is about 15 miles from Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
At light, turn right on Northern Blvd.
At 82nd Street, turn right and go two blocks. Church is on the right.
Parking garage is ½ block past the church on the left on 82nd Street.
From Pennsylvania and Northern Jersey
Take Route 80 East to the George Washington Bridge. Stay in the local lanes and use the lower deck unless there is an accident. The upper deck always has security delays.
Stay on 95 after the bridge until the Harlem River Drive exit. Take the exit.
Stay in the center lanes and move right when you see the exit for Queens, Long Island, and Triboro Bridge. Follow directions above after crossing the bridge.
By public transportation
By Subway – use the E,F,R,G,V to 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
Transfer to the 7 and take it one station towards Flushing.
Exit on 82nd Street and walk two blocks north past McDonalds.
Or take the 7 from 42nd Street in Manhattan.
By bus - use the Q32, Q33, Q66 (walk 2 blocks south) or Q19B.
By train - take the Long Island Railroad to Woodside Station.
Go upstairs and get the #7 subway to Flushing.
Exit on 82nd Street and walk two blocks north past McDonalds.

From LaGuardia Airport
Outside the baggage area, find the sign for local bus service (green booths)
Take the Q33. Toll is $1.50 in quarters. No change. No dollars.
Watch for Northern Blvd (about 1 1/2 miles).
After Northern Boulevard, church is two blocks on the left.
Signal the bus to stop after it passes 34th Avenue.
From JFK Airport
Take a taxi to the church – 81-10 35th Avenue, Jackson Heights, Queens. Charge should be about thirty dollars.
